Congratulations on completing your tryout for Weddington Middle School’s Basketball Cheerleading Team!

Roster decisions are final and are determined with the best interest of the program as a whole, as well as the individual athletes in mind.  Sydney Mefford and Cassie Helms are the cheerleading head coaches.  Based on the judges’ comments, they can provide feedback for individual athletes to help them better prepare for future tryouts and goals.  

Our first practice is MONDAY, November 4th.  Athletes will meet immediately after school in the Great Hallway.  All athletes selected to join the team and ONE parent (minimum) must attend the mandatory parent and athlete meeting on November 4th starting at 5 PM.  We will meet in the Media Center.  Calendars and contracts will be reviewed at this meeting.
