VOLLEYBALL

The 4A volleyball season came to a close for all UCPS teams by the fourth round on Saturday, October 28th.

The 4A women’s golf season concluded on Tuesday, October 31st at Pinehurst No. 6.

MEN’S SOCCER

All UCPS 4A teams seasons came to an end by the fourth round of the state playoffs.

FOOTBALL

4A

Weddington defeated Hoggard on Saturday, December 9th 56 to 21 securing their first title as a 4A team. The warriors have won three 3a state titles previously (2016, 2018, 2019).

CROSS COUNTRY

The cross country championships concluded on Saturday, November 4th at the Ivey Redmon Sports Complex in Kernersville NC. 

Congratulations to Marvin Ridge Men’s Cross Country for winning the Men’s 4A Cross Country Championship.

Congratulations to Cuthbertson Women’s Cross Country for the runner-up finish in the Women’s 4A Cross Country Championship.

CHEERLEADING 

The 21st annual NCHSAA State Cheer Invitational took place on Saturday, December 2nd at the Raleigh Convention Center.

Marvin Ridge senior Sydney Johnston won the NCHSAA/Cheersounds Scholarship as well on Saturday for her dedication to cheerleading, academics and her engagement in the community.
