Lamantia Sisters Help Weddington Softball Start Strong

Weddington Softball has something unique about their roster this spring season, the three Lamantia sisters, who are all on the same team for the only time in their high school softball careers. 

Bella, a senior, plays left field, middle infield, and outfield. Sammy, a junior, plays second base and the infield. Adriana, a sophomore, has always played first base.

Adriana and Sammy have played together on the same team often but rarely did they find themselves on the same team with their older sister Bella. This makes the 2024 spring season even more special for the trio. 

Although they have different playing styles the Lamantia sisters are able to use their different strengths to help one another play their best on the field.
